Overview

The Australian Government in conjunction with the Government of the People's Republic of China has established the Australia-China Special Fund for S&T Cooperation (Australia-China Special Fund). The Australia-China Special Fund is jointly managed by the Australian Government Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (Department of Innovation) and its Chinese counterpart, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST).

For details on the Australia-China Special Fund in China please see the fund's website hosted by MOST at http://www.most.gov.cn/tztg/200902/t20090220_67548.htm

To be considered under the Australia-China Special Fund each applicant must submit an application to their respective Government. If the project involves collaboration with multiple Australian partners then one Australian partner should be the applicant.

Under the Australia-China Special Fund the Australian Government will contribute up to $2 million per round.

Support available
