International Science Linkages

The Australian Government, through the International Science Linkages (ISL) program, will provide $94.5 million over nine years to support international scientific collaboration.

ISL supports Australian scientists, from both the public and private sectors, to collaborate with international partners on leading edge science and technology in order to contribute to Australia’s economic, social and environmental wellbeing.

* All Australian applications for FAST Round 7 must submitted by 17:00 AEST, 26 June 2009.
Please be advised that the French application deadline has been extended to 3 July 2009, as a result of technical difficulties experienced with their system. This extension DOES NOT apply to Australian submissions.

The Guidelines for Round 7 of FAST are now available.

* The Competitive Grants round planned for early 2009 has been postponed until further notice.

$1m for International Humanities and Social Science Collaboration

Senator Kim Carr, Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research has announced funding through the ISL Program of $1 million over the next three years to support international research engagement for the humanities and social sciences. See media release for more information.
